A real-life madeleine de Proust
For the “Écrans, Parlons-en!” campaign, Action Innocence wanted an experience capable of opening a conversation between generations, without relying on screens. Their goal was to create a gentle moment of reflection in a world saturated by digital stimuli. Our mission was to transform a simple attic space, Le Grenier de Grand-Père, into an emotional journey where light, scenography, and familiar objects bring people closer together.
Dorier designed the full creative and technical ecosystem:
- Spatial design
- Graphic design
- Technical production
- Operation
The challenge was to shape a multisensory experience without screens or visible technology. We used discreet lighting sources, diffused shadows, soft textures, and carefully placed objects to evoke nostalgia and curiosity. Every detail was calibrated to feel intuitive, familiar, and human.
The outcome
Hundreds of families visited the exhibition over two days. The scenography prompted natural conversations: grandparents telling stories, children asking questions, parents rediscovering forgotten memories. More than an installation, the project became a bridge between generations. A reminder that meaningful experiences can emerge from simplicity.
This activation demonstrated the power of audiovisual solutions used with restraint: when technology steps back, connection steps forward.
